hi all,

yes, once again it's been a while since my last update.  i still don't have time to do a full update here, but i wanted you all to know that at least the aliyah articles (in the original versions column, not yet the published column) are fully up to date and operational. :)

things have been really intense the past two months, as you'll read in two of the latest articles, #55 and #56.  i actually took a bit of a hiatus from writing to deal with all the turmoil, but now things are slowly getting back to normal and i'm returning to the mundane normality of my life.. god willing. :)

in other news, my birthday was a week and a half ago, and thanks to all of you who sent birthday wishes!  i had a great day, part of a wonderful, long, relaxing weekend spent at the dead sea with mikhael.  we stayed in a hotel and spent two long days in the spa, floating in the dead sea pool and sulfur pools and vegging out in the jacuzzis.  nothing like a good float to take all the stresses away!  we ate like pigs because of the buffet, and by the time we got back to my place on saturday night, i think i must have been either too full or dehydrated from all the steaming, and i ended up throwing up all night.. what a lovely end to the weekend!  all told, except for the ending part, it was loads of fun and i really enjoyed my birthday this year.. and NO ONE is discussing the fact that this is my last birthday before the big 3-0, holy $*#$&@*$^~~!!!!!!! :)

ok, i'll update more later.. things are awesome, no worries, love you all, hope to be in better touch soon.... :)

PS ==> a lot of you have expressed the desire to see some pictures, especially of this suspiciously fictional-sounding boyfriend of mine.. yes, i know it's hard to believe that i actually have a long-term boyfriend, and god forbid that he might be interested in marrying me, but it is indeed true.. and here are the pictures to prove it!! :)

For any of you who might be interested, here is a link to an article that was written about me online.  It's kind of dorky, and the picture is horrific (except, of course, of Sava!), but it's fun nonetheless. :)  And by the by, in response to the pleadings and moanings of those of you who know who you are, here are some more and updated pictures.  Keep reading, keep writing, keep voyeur-izing, and I love you all! :)

Finally, here is a link to an article a friend of mine wrote that I found really fascinating.  It's short, sweet, and to the point -- but I doubt you will be able to forget it.  I also wrote an article about it, as well as a follow-up to it which expresses more of my own thoughts on the topic.  Please read it and please let me know what you think about it -- I am currently polling people and trying to get a feel for what the "general public" might think about something like this.  I, personally, think it's pretty amazing.  Feel free to drop me a line and tell me your thoughts!!
