Yes, I officially suck at keeping in touch with all of you.  Of course, it doesn't have anything to do with how much I love and think about all of you.  And as usual, I have no other excuse than that I have been crazy, crazy busy, but I do hope you will all forgive me because I have fantastic news for those of you on the East Coast!

In case you hadn't heard, I shall be making my way over there this coming Tuesday, and will be there from July 26 until August 11.  I will be in Providence most of the time, but will be making short forays to New York, Boston, Springfield, MA, and Atlantic City.  I would absolutely love to hang out and catch up with those of you in these areas, so please drop me an email and we will try to plan something.

V+H Columnist Alison Golub to speak at Jewish Community Center

Alison Stern Golub, of the Jewish Voice & Herald's "Alison on Aliyah" column, will be in town and available for a candid discussion on the current state of events in Israel from a personal perspective.  She will also be discussing the process of making aliyah (coming to Israel to live permanently) and talking about her life in Israel nearly two years after becoming a citizen.  She looks forward to meeting those of you who have emailed her in response to her articles, and hopes to re-connect with the Jewish community in Providence while she is here on a visit.
